  we were all hanging about for a bit, picking the local flora for soup, cats disinterestedly moseying amongst us.  i stopped for a moment, realising that of all the kisses in my past, ---those i had received from her had lingered most vividly in my memory.   toothlessly affectionate greetings.  i carried on listening to her speak of life, death, and needing more little leaves for her soup.  "why don't you bring me a cooker/stove?  i could use one very well"   i imagine a cooker tied to my back like a backpack, hiking up the little path through the woods to her residence.   "cos they're too heavy".     it would make it easier to make soup though, i supposed.

this is a portrait of a fellow called matthew ryan.  it's a touch embarassing cos you don't want to give the impression of an obsessive or something.  but, whatever it is, it came from a time (which is somehow reoccuring) when it was difficult to get my brain to portray onto a surface what was going on in my mind.  he had written a note about one of the lyrics 'return to me' that gave the whole mood at the time a new perspective, and it turned into this picture.   

the conflict between forcing the process, or allowing it to come to you-  it's different than commitment, hard work, and determination.           determination and continually working at it allows you to be in the right place and time when the things come back together to allow something to happen...

   per my last posting, this switzerland/germany span of life that's been such a mental throwback lately, it's more than appropriate to mention mr. beckum as both a s/swrtr and throwbk to the current vein of influence to my process in living ......     listen enjoyably.
